STORY

I’m Jared Yang, born into a humble family, excelling academically from a young age. However, during my high school years, I found myself drawn to the distractions of youth, temporarily losing my way. Fortunately, I discovered my passion for art, which became my true calling. After two years of professional art training, I made a pivotal decision in 2004: instead of pursuing further education, I chose to channel my passion and talent into the footwear industry, embarking on a new journey.

Starting from the ground up, I worked my way through various roles in the industry—from material preparation in the sample room to purchasing and pattern making, and eventually, assisting in design. I was fortunate to contribute to the design team at ZIGINY and provide support for renowned international brands like NINE WEST, STEVEN MADDEN, and BATA. These experiences honed my skills and allowed me to develop a unique design philosophy, ultimately leading me to become the head of YOSI SAMARA’s China office.

Fueled by my deep love for fashion, I founded Kaimoo Shoes. I believe that shoes are not just products but vessels of a designer’s creativity and an expression of the wearer’s individuality. Kaimoo Shoes combines Italian craftsmanship standards with Chinese manufacturing excellence, dedicated to creating exceptional footwear for designer brands worldwide.
