Where it began
Experience earned at every stage.
Jared entered the footwear industry in 2004, starting in a sample-room warehouse preparing materials.
He later moved through production follow-up and pattern-making assistance, developing a practical understanding of how a shoe moves from an idea into a physical product.
With an early background in art, he learned to look at footwear from both sides: the intention behind the design and the technical decisions required to make it work.
Kaimoo grew from that experience — and from a genuine love of shoes.
What we believe
A reference image is only the beginning.
A successful shoe cannot be created by copying what is visible on a flat page. Its proportion, structure, material, balance and character need to be interpreted with both technical judgment and aesthetic sensitivity.
That is where a shoe begins to gain its warmth.
We focus on considered development and controlled production rather than volume for its own sake — using the standards we admire in Italian footwear as our benchmark.
